Julianne Hull - family law attorney in Portland, Maine

Julianne Hull

Julianne is dedicated to providing thoughtful, clear legal guidance to clients navigating family law matters. With more than 20 years of experience in litigation and securities law, she brings a rare combination of courtroom advocacy, financial sophistication, and compassion to her practice.

Julianne began her legal career in securities enforcement at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in Washington, D.C., and later practiced commercial litigation at Kirby Noonan Lance & Hoge LLP in San Diego. She then returned to the East Coast to serve as in-house counsel to SEC-registered investment advisers, from closely held firms to public reporting companies. This background allows her to handle financially complex family law cases with particular insight and precision.

After returning home to Maine, Julianne chose to pursue what first inspired her to become a lawyer: helping people navigate life’s most personal and consequential transitions. She began her family law practice at MillerAsen, P.A., where she applied her litigation experience and financial acumen guiding clients through sophisticated divorce and parenting matters with clarity, care, and strategic focus. Whether through negotiated settlement or litigation, she is committed to helping clients move forward with security, dignity, and confidence.

Outside the office, Julianne enjoys yoga and exploring Maine’s outdoors with her family and their dog, Lexi.

Julianne earned her B.A. in Psychology from Boston University and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Maine and Massachusetts and is a retired member of the California Bar.
